Contracting

In this tutorial, you enter client data, services, and budgets in one workflow. You structure projects clearly in just a few minutes. This forms the basis for offer, commissioning, and invoicing.

Create a contact

  • Select the Clients entry from the menu on the left.
  • Add a new contact using the plus symbol.
  • Enter all information about your client.
  • Add a profile picture if you like.
  • Enter the details, such as the email address, postal address, or a reference number. In the example, use your supplier number for this client.
  • Select Save to create the contact.
  • Use the context menu to duplicate a contact, for example to add another contact person for a company.

Create a project

  • Open the Projects section from the menu on the left.
  • Add a new project using the plus symbol.
  • Enter the basic data for your project.
  • Select the client you just created.
  • Click to select the client.
  • Define the scope of services for your project.
  • Choose one of the two available methods.

Option 1: AI-based service description

  • Select the magic wand for the AI-based option.
  • Enter a short, concise, professional description of your project using complete sentences and specific details.
  • Let Blitzy automatically generate the service description.

Option 2: Manual service description

  • Select Plus and then Section to create the description manually.
  • Choose from existing descriptions or add a new section using the plus symbol.
  • Give the section a title and enter your service description.
  • Save to create the section.

Add products

  • Add the products to your project that you want to invoice later.
  • Select Plus and then Product.
  • Choose an existing product or add a new one using the plus symbol.
  • Give the product a name.
  • Leave the price field empty to record services based on actual effort later, for example for travel costs.
  • Enter a price, for example for your fee, and select a suitable unit in the next step, such as days.
  • Leave the quantity field empty to record your fee later with a flexible amount.
  • Enter a quantity to create a budget that appears in the offer, the time tracking, and the reports.
  • Save to create the product.
  • Move the product to the desired position in the project. Sections and products can be arranged freely.
  • Do not forget to save.

Congratulations. Your first consulting project is now created.
